Mélanie Barney, une excellente organiste aux Grandes Orgues à Wiltz, tout à fait dans la lignée des grands organistes de tout premier ordre tels Marie-Claire Alain, Kaunzinger, Castagnet, Herrick, Decerf, Latry, Parker-Smith, Planyavsky, Vernet et Rechsteiner .

overwhelming success. Her varied program of classic repertoire favorites and transcriptions was apparently chosen to please everyone - and indeed it did. Sustained applause was heard after each selection; as well as an immediate spontaneous standing ovation from the season's largest audience - a rare occurrence at Methuen. Despite relatively little preparation time at the hall, she mastered the immense tonal resources of the famed "Great Organ" and consistently selected registrations that were perfectly appropriate. Those fortunate enough to have attended her superb recital were treated to an evening of pure delight. Keep your eyes on this young woman - she is surely a budding "super star" in the organ world.»
